Wolvercote Literary Festival 2026
OxIA’s first literary festival for 2026 will be held on Sunday, 28th June, at Wolvercote Village Hall, as part of the Wolvercote & Wytham Mid-Summer Festival. The Book Fair itself will be in the main hall, with talks and workshops in the back room.
Wolvercote Literary Festival will also see the launch of the OxIA Short Story Collection, a new compilation of stories from Oxfordshire authors – and aspiring authors – of all ages. The Collection will be available to view on the stage in the main hall.

Chaired by Steve Lunn, with Sylvia Vetta, Professor Iftikhar Malik and Linda Proud.
Sessions for children
As with all Wolvercote & Wytham Mid-Summer Festival events, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Workshops are aimed at the primary and early secondary years.
