Who We Are

The Oxford Independent Authors are a mutually supportive group of writers who meet to share expertise, preserving independence and joining together at collaborative events. The focus of this group is on marketing, promoting, selling and raising the profile of our writers.

OxIA Bookstore

The OxIA Bookstore pops up at Book Fairs and similar events around the county, throughout the year, and at OxIA’s mini literary festivals.

At the OxIA Bookstore, you can buy books from the OxIA authors and meet some of us!

OxIA Literary Festivals

At our festivals you can get face to face with our authors, partners and exhibitors, with free entry to the book fair, book launches, talks and workshops for children and adults, for all ages and genres.

WolvLitFest will be run again in 2026 on 28th June and we will have a festival in Wallingford later in the year (date to be confirmed). See our events page for more!
